Sarah Albertson

Sarah Albertson brings her background in urban policy to Columbia Institute from her previous role as a project manager at BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) and other roles such as a term with the City of Vancouver’s Heritage Advisory Committee. Sarah has always been interested in municipal politics. In 2002, she founded a civic party directly aimed at increasing the youth vote. The election that year had the highest voter turnout since 1932. Sarah studied Cultural Geography at the University of British Columbia.
