Leadership Victoria [1] is developing a new generation of community leaders whose community projects have had a big impact in Victoria. Originally housed with Volunteer Victoria, Leadership Victoria is now standing on its own.

North Island Family Self-Sufficiency Program

Housed at the Comox Valley Family Services Association, the North Island Family Self-Sufficiency Program is a groundbreaking model for street-level capacity building for self-sufficiency. A three year program, the Self-Sufficiency program has potential as a provincial model for providing real help to challenged families.

Two Degrees of Fear and Desire

A Headlines Theatre production, Two Degrees of Fear and Desire is a series of interactive theatre evenings about global warming in the spring of 2008. (Link to our 2 Degrees info here). Columbia Institute is a Headlines Theatre sponsor for this production and a member of the technical advisory group.
