Climate Change: What It Means for BC, Winter 2011

Research from Simon Fraser University's Adaptation to Climate Change (ACT) predicts that climate change will have very serious consequences for BC communities and our natural environment. This research briefing provides likely scenarios for the following:
- Wildlife, fisheries, and natural ecosystems;
- Extreme weather events;
- Energy supply disruptions;
- Impact on water supply;
- Impact on agriculture;
- Health risks;
- Rising sea levels; and
- Population displacement.
